Your new teamYou will join a small finance team based in our office Milan, consisting of two colleagues: an Accountant and a Financial Controller.

You will be part of a larger global Finance team, based in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Brazil. The EE Finance department with in total 85 colleagues.

You will be based in the Milan office, started up in Sept 2020, with in total 15 colleagues working in Project Development, EPC, Legal, and Finance.

Your new roleAs our new Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting for Italian companies in the EE group. You will offer business support to the Project department and coordinate tasks in cooperation with the Financial Controller. Externally, you will collaborate and interact with external accounting and tax advisors as well local authorities.

A typical dayYou handle daily bookkeeping and bank payments for Italian companies in EE group.
You are responsible for financial reconciliation of accounts.
You manage period-end tasks.
You prepare VAT monthly reconciliation.
You take part in optimization of tasks and processes.
You support on new company setup including bank account setup and tax registrations.

To thrive in this position, we imagine thatYou have several years of experience within Accounting and Finance from a similar position.

You hold a degree in Finance or you are a qualified accountant.
You have profound skills in accounting including Italian GAAP, VAT, and Tax.
You are fluent in Italian and have a good level of English.

You are an experienced Excel user and preferably experienced in Microsoft ERP systems (Navision Dynamics / BC a.o.) and invoice workflow.

You have good knowledge on IT financial compliance.
You have good analytical skills and a thorough and structured way of working.
You provide an effort in delivering timely and accurately in high quality.

You will join our local finance team, a small but highly motivated team, and be part of the growth and development of EE operations in Italy.

You will have the opportunity to work as business partner of the local EE team, supporting our Project, Legal and Engineering team in pursuing the group goals.
