(url removed) WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The software engineering manager provides leadership in design, development and deployment of software to CNHis in vehicle platforms.

This position will be accountable for growing, managing and leading a team that will develop and own a common software services across all existing and future onboard ECU products for the Agriculture and Construction Equipment brands for CNHi.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential competences and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field from an accredited university is required Minimum 8 years of software development experience with embedded systems.

Minimum 8 years of experience in designing software with C, C++ or Java. 2 years of managing global or remote software engineering teams or 3-5 years in a team lead role. 3+ years of experience with Linux, preferably Yocto in an embedded environment. Solid software development fundamentals such as unit testing, build automation, branched based development, and modern documentation practices. Experience in testing middleware platform foundation modules as OS, platform health management, access management, cryptography and persistency modules. Experience with debugging and troubleshooting embedded software on target hardware.

Additional skills and experience:
Masters in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Good understanding of CMake for build, automation testing and packaging. Familiarity with OpenGL ES or 3D experience is a plus. Automotive / Commercial Vehicle experience. Understanding of Automotive networking protocols such as J1939, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, XCP, UDS, ISOBUS. Experience with SAFe Software Development Processes. Experience with Software Engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, JIRA, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins.
