Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

Within the Group Organization & Workforce Planning area we are looking for a Group Organizational Development Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Group Organization and Next Ways of Working and directly liasing with the Global network of Organizational Managers within the Group and other Group HR units, the Organizational Development Manager is responsible for driving the correct implementation of Group organizational models in line with the Group strategic objectives, governance principles and regulation, for leading organizational development projects at Group level and support the transition towards new ways of working in the Next Normal.

Reporting to the Head of Group Organization and Next Ways of Working and directly liasing with the Global network of Organizational Managers within the Group and other Group HR units, the Organizational Development Manager is responsible for driving the correct implementation of Group organizational models in line with the Group strategic objectives, governance principles and regulation, for leading organizational development projects at Group level and support the transition towards new ways of working in the Next Normal.


Core responsibilities include:

  • Identify opportunities for organizational development within the Group and supports organizational projects linked to key strategic initiatives
  • Support Business Units in organizational analysis, design and implementation of the most effective, productive and high performing organization solutions across multiple markets, participating to several organizational projects
  • Partner with the business on processes redesign and organization impacts with the purpose to support the establishment of an healthy Organization
  • Define and monitor human capital metrics and KPI in relation with organizational and business requirements
  • Promote projects and initiatives to simplify the organization, fostering the evolution towards an Agile Organization, supporting implementation and facilitating best practices sharing of innovative approaches as Agile, Liquid Workforce and related Change Management
  • Lead the definition / finetuning of hybrid work models to support the Generali Group transition towards the Next Normal / Post-Covid era
  • Frame key transformation initiatives to drive the implementation of new ways of working in the Next Normal across the Group

Must have:

  • Master's Degree in Management, Economics or Organizational Psychology
  • Proven, at least 5 years experience of working in international environment in management consulting top consulting firms or in similar role in complex international organizations
  • Business acumen to understand and embed the strategic vision and business/regulatory requirements in organizational recommendations / implications
  • English proficiency

Soft skills:

  • Superior problem solving, project management, change management and relational skills are required
  • Curiosity, resilience, flexibility and capability to liaise with multiple and international stakeholders and to deliver results also under pressure are key to succeed in this role
