The Global Maritime & Environmental Compliance IT mission is to develop and ensure the compliance and smooth operation of the technological capabilities in all marine areas for the Carnival Corporations brands, aiming to achieve effectiveness and innovation in alignment with the brand's operational and financial performance targets.


Today we're looking for a talented professional to join the team as HR Management Systems Business Analyst, reporting to the IT Crew Systems Manager.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the HR Departments and crew to collect requirements and priorities on initiatives
  • Identify the opportunities to improve business processes or technologies
  • Write and review business requirements in the form of use stories, and other similar structured
  • Ensure the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and understandable
  • Perform functional testing scenarios, control adequacy of developments within functional specifications
  • Support crew and HR users in UAT process and ensuring IT system project launch
  • Participate to working groups and business initiatives requiring HR business knowledge
  • Contribute to the preparation of the user documentation (user manual, presentation)
  • Act as an interface between HR departments and external providers in relation to deployment of systems delivery, incident problem changes analysis
  • Develop and maintain appropriate communication channels/tools with the users' community and fluent working relationships
  • Interface with the cruise lines IT teams for the rollout of the various releases accordingly to the plans
  • Provide training and coaching for crew and HR users.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT business analysis for multinational and complex environments
  • Solid Technology background (track of learning achievements and certifications would be appreciated)
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Knowledge in the areas of HR management would be appreciated
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Team working attitude, leadership, and influential skills
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Proficient knowledge of English B2 level (any other language represents an appreciated skill)
  • Open to diversity and cultural differences
  • Real team player able to encourage and help others in giving their best.
