    Our client is an important Automotive manufacturing multinational company.

    We have been entrusted to look for their:

    Main responsibilities MISSION Define the best supply sources at international level for the supply of materials and services, coordinate internal staff for the correct implementation of purchasing activities, ensure continuous monitoring of purchasing prices and the function costs.

    Main Activities In line with strategic guidelines established by Europe COO and Europe Purchasing Director, develop strategies for both direct and indirect purchasing , mainly of: raw materials, tools, services, subcontracting, semi-finished products, maintenance material; Ensure the continuity in the supply of all materials, monitoring the stock level in collaboration with Operations; Issue Purchasing Orders of materials and services specifying the acceptance criteria, quality standards and legal requirements to be respected and administrative conditions; Develop specific plans for cost reduction in Purchasing; Develop plans to obtain specific bonus from suppliers, based on purchasing turnover realized with them; Verify, with the assistance of the Quality Department, the compliance with the quality standard.

    In case of Non-Compliance, contribute to solving the issues and agree with the supplier debit notes; Evaluate the quality, reactivity and efficiency of suppliers periodically, through the Group Vendor Rating system; Conduct the activity of selection and qualification of suppliers also periodically visiting suppliers with the assistance of Supplier Quality; Supervise the respect of all applicable requirements on environment, health and safety; Make sure that purchasing team receives proper training on EHS issues; Update EHS team about changes which can affect EHS.

    Candidate profile Professional Skills Master degree (Engineering or Economics) or equivalent technical education Fluent English and preferably good French Deep knowledge of ERP systems and specifically of SAP tools Good knowledge of Quality certification systems Knowledge of EHS certification systems (environment, health and safety) Deep and advanced knowledge of calculation tools like Excel Very good communication skills both inside the company and also externally Good negotiation and relational skills Knowledge of the supply market for all relevant commodities Familiar with key legal issues in contracts for the supply of goods and services
