    POSITION OVERVIEW
    As part of the Overseas Tax Center of Excellence (OTCOE) team of EMEA region, the Tax
    Manager will be responsible for overseeing the tax compliance and risk management of
    group entities in Midea Italy. This role requires a deep understanding of local tax
    regulations from both technical and practical perspectives and the ability to implement
    effective tax strategies to optimize the local entities' tax positions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Responsible for promotion and implementation of the Group's global / regional tax
    strategy and policy in Italy.
    Stay current on regional and local tax legislation developments, assess potential
    impact on the business and communicate with internal stakeholders, and conduct
    regular tax trainings to the stakeholders.
    Lead / participate in local tax health check projects or tax audits initiated by the tax
    authorities, supported by external tax advisors as appropriate.
    Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax-compliant
    and efficient structuring of transactions / operations and provide ad-hoc practical tax
    solutions.

    Monitor tax compliance status of local entities, support on review of internal tax reporting as well as external tax filings prepared by local entities, and further manage local tax compliance process improvement if any.

    Asist in the implementation of the Group's global tax digitalization initiatives and coordinate with local entities.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in local country tax practice, preferably in an international setting.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with the ability to communicate tax technical issues with non-tax professionals.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
