Job Description:

We are seeking a courteous and professional Hostess to join our team at an upscale hotel in the Middle East (specific location undisclosed).

As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests into our dining areas.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the hotel, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize guest flow, accommodate special requests, and ensure an even distribution of guests across sections.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to maintain awareness of table availability, reservations, and special requests.
Monitor the dining room and anticipate guest needs, such as refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, or accommodating special dietary requirements.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly, escalating issues to management as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host/hostess station and reception area, including keeping menus tidy, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a welcoming ambiance.
Assist in coordinating special events, private dining, and other hospitality functions, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
Stay updated on menu items, daily specials, and promotions to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including COVID19 protocols, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a similar guestfacing role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the hospitality industry.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Pay:
From €1,400.00 per month
