    Role Overview

    As the Construction Manager, you will work alongside the New Build Vessel Manager to oversee construction, conversion, and other related activities for vessels in the Prysmian Fleet. We are seeking a dedicated professional who will focus on cable installation engineering and offshore operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and control vessel constructions, conversions, and modifications
    • Ensure effective communication between project stakeholders
    • Release Request for Quotation and manage tender process
    • Identify necessary resources for project planning
    • Oversee superintendents during project execution
    • Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
    • Propose performance improvement plans
    • Review and approve shipbuilding drawings
    • Manage vessel delivery according to schedule
    • Evaluate technical and contractual information
    • Conduct operational presentations and industry seminars
    • Comply with Group and Business Division policies
    • Maintain project-specific procedures
    • Ensure high-quality project documentation
    • Ensure staff compliance with regulations and policies

    Qualifications & Experience

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Engineering Technology (marine construction preferred)

    Prior experience in management and project management

    Knowledge of marine industry and successful project delivery

    Strong communication skills

    Minimum Experience:

    • 5+ years in senior vessel construction roles
    • Practical knowledge of ships and international regulations
    • Experience in construction with focus on health, safety, and environment
    • Team management experience in technical engineering
