Sustainability Engineer (f/m/d)-(LS-00048R)

Your Impact:

As a Sustainability Engineer, you will be a key member of the Sustainability Life Sciences Italian team with responsibility for supporting key projects in response to Jacobs and our Clients sustainability goals (environmental, social and governance).

You will also support the sustainability team in researching and implementing best-in-class initiatives.

In this role you will report directly to the Sustainability Department Manager for Life Sciences in Italy and participate in regular Life Sciences calls with the wider European Sustainability team to aid in the sharing of resources and knowledge.

Key accountabilities include:
Support of sustainability projects for the Life Sciences team including successful delivery of all related sustainability goals and targetsEngage with the client, design and construction teams to ensure sustainability objectives are embedded in the projectTracking and reporting of relevant project sustainability objectives and preparation of deliverables as per the project programFacilitating guidance for project teams regarding the following certification processes (e.g. LEED, BREEAM and WELL)

Research future sustainability legislation and green building rating systems to ensure our clients and wider Jacobs team are aware of upcoming changes / opportunitiesWork with Life Sciences team on the research and preparation of white papers / thought pieces #LSeuropeHere's What You'll Need:
