Agriculture Analytics Intern in Seed Supply Chain department

As Agriculture Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate with the Field Operation Manager team to collect data from different systems as well as different regions (EU, USA) and perform historical analysis of yield and production data.
  • Analyze the data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Draw conclusions from the analysis and make proposals to the Soybean Leadership Team for potential improvements in budget yield settings and production planning activities.
  • Build a robust data based gathering historical data within the regions.
  • Gather data from any applicable source/origin (team, systems ).
  • Clean, organize & harmonize unit of measure.
  • Focused figures: actual yields, usability, Relative Standard deviation.
  • Develop "decision tool model" and/or prepare the data base to be loaded in current model.

You Will Be Part of Growing Team
Seed Supply Chain Planning Team.


Your Challenge (responsibilities):


  • Supporting our project of significantly increasing the Soybean EU production.
  • The intern will work closely with the Field Operation Manager team to collect and analyze data to improve our budget yield settings and strengthen our production planning activities.

Planning Team, Production Manager, Field Operation Managers and Agronomists.

Qualifications:

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Strong data analysis skills and a datadriven mindset.
  • High level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with different systems and software tools for data collection and analysis.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Power Point, and others.
  • Proficient Communication in English (i.e. verbal and written)
  • Background in Agronomy is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Project management skills and ability to coordinate with crossfunctional teams.
