Language on Demand, Inc., located in Northern Virginia (United States), offers a full range of language solutions including translation, interpretation, and language training to the government and commercial clients.

Description:

LOD is seeking
IN-PERSON Italian Language Instructor(s) to teach a working adult students located in Rome, Italy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct student's target language level assessment and prepare a material and lesson plans for the student.
Emphasis and focus should be to maximize the student's foreign language proficiency in Italian modalities of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and to improve use of verb tenses, vocabulary and communication skills.
Instructor should assign appropriate assignments after each class.
Instructor should evaluate student's progress and prepare progressive reports.

Qualifications:

Nativelevel proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in formal classroom instruction to students at a high school level or above.
Instructor must possess prior experience in class preparation, course development and modification, and/or tutoring within a structured educational setting.
A proficiency level appropriate for the target language shall be clearly demonstrated. For example, a language rating of interagency language roundtable (ILR) level 3/3/3 or American Council on the Teaching of Foreign languages (ACTFL) Superior or higher in the specified foreign language in speaking, reading, and listening.
