GENERAL MANAGER ITALY AND SPAIN.


PURPOSE:


Reporting into the President, the General Manager for Italy and Spain is responsible for managing the organization's business and financial strategies for all the brands in the Company Portfolio, to achieve growth and profitability targets for the Italian Subsidiary in FOB and Domestic Sales in Italy and Spain.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Development and Business Growth

  • Establish, represent and develop the company's Brand in Italy and Spain, together with the company mission and values.
  • Provide sales direction with focus on business expansion activities.
  • Cooperate with the R&D Teams, to drive innovative ideas in product, sales and graphic solutions.
  • Provide direction on direct / indirect sales channels. Consolidate relationship with Agents to maintain high level motivation and business focus.
  • Communicate and supports established sales targets and metrics and manage constant feedback on sales results.
P&L Management

  • Responsible for Regional P&L Achievement. Provide regional direction to the organization developing shortterm and longterm financial and operational goals.
  • Analyze the company's financial statements and other indicators of financial performance in order to assess standing and financial position. Ensure effective Credit Management is executed and reviewed.
  • Determine ways to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve overall company performance, including HC management strategies and business channel management.
  • Review Inventory Processes and KPIs, monitoring the rotation of goods.
  • Engage in highlevel negotiations to generate lucrative contracts or build beneficial relationships with companies and individuals. Drive a culture of influence ensuring business leaders develop advocacy skills across the organization.
  • Update the company leaders on organizational finances, operations, and progress toward goals.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and trade shows.
  • Work with other executive colleagues and departmental managers to implement plans and policies throughout the organization.
  • Manage the team of external Consultants and Suppliers to balance costs vs services provided.
Organizational Leadership

  • Nominate leaders and advise on highlevel hiring decisions.
  • Lead bestinclass organizational design to drive a profitable growth. Define the values and behaviors focusing on continuous development and the achievement of bold corporate goals.
  • Foster active collaboration and positive communication between teams, challenging them to deliver constant value to the internal and external customers.
  • Drive people development in line with organizational design and business goals, focusing on excellence and "cando" attitude.
  • Enhance a culture of talent, based on recognized competencies and tangible results. Drives effective succession plans providing relevant opportunities for development within the organization.
  • Generate a solid professional network within the organization and with key customers at national and international level. Is highly recognized within the professional environment for personal standing and professional competencies.
