About the department:
The Operations Support Department is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services needed.

Its main objective is to obtain the right goods and services at the right price, quantity, and time from the right supplier.

The Operations Support Department is an important part of any organization as it affects the overall performance of the company.

Effective procurement can help save costs, improve quality, reduce lead time, and increase customer satisfaction.

The department needs to work closely with other departments such as finance, sales, production, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.

As Business Support Specialist (Purchasing) you will: Getting prepared for the BYD Europe direct material Purchasing.

Adhere to Company Procurement Processes:
Familiarize and strictly adhere to the company's procurement policies and processes, ensuring all procurement activities comply with regulations. Assist in developing and updating procurement processes to enhance efficiency and standardization. 2.

Management of Suppliers and Contracts within the System:
Create, manage, and maintain qualified supplier information within the company's procurement system. Responsible for reviewing and managing supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company requirements. 3.


Ordering and Delivery Management:
Create purchase orders within the procurement system and ensure accuracy. Manage the delivery progress of orders, coordinating delivery times and methods with suppliers. 4.


Payment Management:
Monitor the payment status of purchase orders, ensuring timely completion of the payment process. Coordinate with the finance department to resolve payment-related issues and exceptions. 5.


Report Preparation:
Collect and organize procurement data, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports. Analyze procurement data and trends, providing decision support and recommendations to management. 6.


Information System Implementation:
Lead and coordinate the implementation of information systems (e.g., SAP), including deployment, training, and promotion. Ensure all procurement activities are conducted within the system, assisting team members in adapting to system operations. 7.

Cross-border Procurement Support:
Ensure procurement activities in comply with local regulations and company policy requirements. 8.


Continuous Improvement and Learning:
Participate in continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and quality. Continuously learn and update procurement knowledge and skills to adapt to changing market and technological environments.


Your profile:
At least 3 years' relevant experience in the role. Automotive industry background will be considered a plus. Affinity with electric mobility; Strong contract management and negotiation skills; Fluent in Italian, English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Very good PowerPoint & Excel user skills, have user knowledge of SAP and/ or other stock control program; A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and results-oriented; Flexibility, and integrity in personality; We offer: Performance and experience-based competitive remuneration.
