1. Job Summary
The Sales Manager will establish departmental goals and KPIs that align with overall commercial growth objectives.

Objective:


The Sales Manager will be a main point of contact and support for the local clinical -and sales team and will demonstrate a strong focus on our commercial proposition, with a core customers focus and align on their needs.


3. Essential Duties (Primary Tasks):


Specific duties, activities and responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to.

  • Drive Best in Class sales across all areas of commercial and service Delivery to outpace the competition and establish Vyaire as the premier provider in the respiratory space.
  • Manage the local clinical and sales team(s) to consistently meet or exceed performance metrics & departmental KPIs (both internal and contractual);
  • Manage field performance to ensure customer contracts and KPI's are met.
  • Coordinating of customer communication (e.g. price increase letters)
  • Drive increases in incremental revenue (disposable, service and ICT solution) and identify cost containment opportunities within the local geography.
  • Ensure sales profitability meets or exceeds established financial targets (GP in %);
  • Work closely with the service team(s) to develop the right go to market through contract and tender preparation, negotiation, and service support.
  • Responsible for driving customer satisfaction within the ITA market. Works closely with other Vyaire functional organizations to assist in providing robust customer solutions, while providing integral feedback of customer service requirements.
  • Manage critical account escalation.
  • Analyse, triage, and implement corrective actions without delay to proactively delivery gaps.
  • Drive G2M strategy for current product portfolio or adapt the G2M when NPI's or OEM products are ready to go to market.
  • Continuously innovate and improve processes, drive down costs and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor training and development of the clinical and sales team(s);
  • Ensure all clinical and account manager are properly managing training on all equipment within region and a robust schedule is placed to facilitate training of all required staff.
  • Ensure clinical and account managers are aligned on priorities, goals, and objectives.
  • Ensure ownership and accountability of all clinical and account managers key job assignments and duties.
  • Ensure you are holding staff accountable and measure performance across all areas of core responsibilities.
  • Maintain, augment, and create processes, standard operating procedures, and controls to ensure projects (SO), and services are delivered on time, on budget, and with quality.
  • Create a reporting cadence and structure that is sustainable, scalable, and efficient to manage deliverables for our business and our customers.
  • Provide professional direction, coaching and support to clinical and account management.
  • Line management of direct reports including objective setting, appraisals, training, and development aligned to the competency framework.
  • Training and development of new staff, ensuring that they receive appropriate support to be able to fulfil their specialists' roles effectively.
  • The Sales Manager works according to the applicable legislation and within local compliance framework, that is needed to perform, support compliant sales work.

Additional tasks:


  • Resolve any sales related challenges escalating from the service &
- customer service cooperation, by working with upstream functions as R&D, Manufacturing, QRA, AP and AR and Marketing (events).

Required Qualifications:


  • HBO (college level of education)
  • Account Management background is mandatory in the medical device sector.
  • Managing a team of minimum 5 direct reports.
  • At least 35 years of management experience.
  • Proven customer relationship management experience;
  • Proven ability to recruit across the country.
  • Proven track record of leading a national clinical and sales organization;
  • Individual shall possess excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Timely submission of required documentation is essential;
  • A strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork is required.
  • Must have a strong finance skillset to comanage the local P&L;
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with internal and external customers;
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers is essential;
