Von Roll's site in Italy (Trofarello, near Turin) is regarded within the Group as an important center of competence for the development and production of electro-insulating resins.

Our customers include the world's leading OEMs for electric motors and devices as well as medium-sized companies and specialized distributors.

At the moment, we are looking for a EHS manager for our Italian site. So if you are interested in a new challenge in EHS at a chemical production site part of an international Group, this could be the perfect opportunity for you


YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND TASKS:

• Ensure that daily activities are in compliance with the regulations on environment, product safety and health & safety
• Ensure that established EHS policies, guidelines and processes of the group and the local transpositions are followed on site
• Responsible for the local incidents process including followup corrective actions and continuous improvement actions
• Supply training and support on EHS topics
• Gather and report EHS data and key performance indicators
• Responsible for managing the proper handling of hazardous waste inside the site as well as the transport of hazardous wastes and chemicals outside the site (ADR, IMDG, IATA)
• Ensure good communication to the site management and local authorities in regards so EHS relevant topics

YOUR PROFILE:

• Technical or chemical education with poststudies in Environmental / Health & Safety Management or comparable experiences
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS
• Valid Italian RSPP certification
• Good knowledge of Standards for EHS (Ex: ISO14001, OHSAS18001 / ISO45001 etc.) as well as risk analysis
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in Italian and English
• High team spirit, organizational skills, problem solving ability
• Internal drive for continuous improvement activities
