Pininfarina, prestigious global corporation, market leader in Automotive, Product & Experience and Architecture Design services, is currently looking for a:

MATERIAL PLANNER

The resource will be involved in the following activities:

Supporting the development and review of the project schedule
Resolving scheduling system conflicts and discrepancies by identifying, researching and correcting and/or notifying responsible parties through monitoring scheduling reports, any discrepancies on production orders due to: changes on the B.O.M., delinquent information on manufactured items, cancellation requirements.
Reviewing project timing for possible conflicts in achieving a realistic project timeline
Assisting Design, Project Management and Manufacturing to establish commercial component priorities
Processing scheduling exceptions and errors identified on ERP scheduling reports.
Reviewing documents, such as production schedules and specifications to obtain information, such as materials and priorities
Monitoring Min/Max material inventory. Transfers orders to acquire materials to meet production demands. Completes status reports, such as production progress and materials inventory
Managing engineering requirements into Purchasing Requisitions

Main Requirements and technical skills:

Associates Degree in technical or business discipline
Minimum of 5 years working experience in an automotive product development and production
Microsoft Project and Excel
Previous experience utilizing a MRP/ERP system
Understanding of Manufacturing Integration Processes
