What we offer:


Dematic has an immediate need for a Head of Solution Development for the Overhead and Circular Sortation Center of Excellence department.

This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, Global Commercial Standardization and is responsible for the Management of the "Solution Development Overhead System and Circular Sortation Centers of Excellence" department


Tasks and Qualifications:


  • Management of the "Solution Development Overhead System and Circular Sortation Centers of Excellence" department
  • Responsibility for liaising with CoE execution teams, Regional Sales/SD teams, R&D and Product Management teams to drive the CoE agenda
  • Assist in the Opportunity Development of the Overhead System and Circular Sortation CoE
  • Responsibility for Quotations and Concepts for the internationally active Center of Excellence in the area of Overhead and Circular Sortation Systems
  • Responsibility for overall costing in the area of overhead and circular sortation technology
  • Responsibility for the creation of own calculation tools "Draw & Quote", compliant with BT architecture
  • Responsibility for continuous improvement in quality and speed of quotation preparation
  • Regular cost tracking and reduction of quotation costs
  • Support in the LoA Process provision of financial key figures
  • Support or take responsibility for the implementation of global tools like QMA and Maestro
  • Support in the Bid-No Bid process
  • Improvement and further development of existing concepts
  • Reporting of activities and results to the CoE management
  • Develops and manages budget, KPIs, and business plans.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders including internal stakeholders, customers and vendors and be seen as a trusted advisor.
