I progetti sviluppati in questo periodo tra cui gli orologi Luminor e Radiomir sono stati coperti dal segreto militare per anni e il loro lancio sul mercato internazionale è avvenuto in seguito all'acquisizione del marchio da parte del gruppo Richemont nel 1997.


Oggi Panerai sviluppa e produce nella manifattura di Neuchâtel i propri movimenti e orologi, sintesi tra design e storia italiani e maestria manifatturiera svizzera, che sono venduti attraverso un'esclusiva rete di distributori e nelle boutique monomarca nel mondo.


MISSION


Driving the growth of Panerai business in the entire zone within each External Boutiques and Multi-brand Doors, ensuring an adeguate distribution of the different watch collections according to the POS potential, customer's profile and seasonality.

Ensuring a premium image/enhancement to the brand and contributing to market share growth per POS.

Supporting Sales Manager and Brand Director in the budgeting process (LE and estimates) per product line and POS.

Following monthly business evolution per POS in terms of:
assortment, sell-out, sell in, stock rotation, aging, credit, etc. Monitoring the zone's evolution in terms of competition, new opening, POS renovation, etc. Max controlling and monitoring of grey market.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial_ targets_**_( sell in/sell out/market share)_

  • Achieve sales objectives set by the management
  • Develop and support POS in the region to achieve outstanding results (sales and brand equity)

Stock Management

  • Ensure stock availability on POS level, SOSI, stock ageing according to the brand's guidelines
  • Manage and rebalance stock levels across physical inventories within retailers if necessary

Trade Marketing and Merchandising

  • Ensure a perfect visibility in line with Brand Guidelines in all POS at all times
  • Identify and negotiate visibility opportunities within each POS in the region
  • Collaborating with different departments (Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Training, etc.)
in all the trade-marketing projects, with a focus on result, budget and ROI for each activity.


Distribution Network

  • Control quality of POS per agreed guidelines
  • Assist Sales Manager in the development of the distribution network
  • Develop, maintain and leverage relationships with local distributors
  • Implement all Operation, CRM, Digital tools developed for External Boutique and Doors.

Training

  • Define the training strategy for the region
  • With the help of the marketing department, ensure comprehensive brand and product
training throughout the distribution network


Event

  • Participate actively to all trade events

Analysis, Planning and Reporting

  • Setup and maintain tools to allocate product resources (backorders, stock report, sell
- in/sell-out reports)

  • Perform sales forecast for the region
  • Assist the Sales Manager for the different monthly reports/PPT presentation and in the monitoring of the budget for the region.
