ALTEN Italia - Calibration Engineer

ALTEN Italia is looking for Calibration Engineers with different levels of experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years for important companies operating in the AUTOMOTIVE sector. You will be involved in the AUTOMOTIVE sector on various projects related to calibration (calibration on engine test benches for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric/HVAC/ADAS/On Board Diagnostic). What will you be responsible for?

1. Calibration experimentation on engine test benches for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric;
2. Vehicle calibration;
3. Definition of combustion process (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability;
4. Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting;
5. Post-processing, after treatment;
6. Vehicle test programming;
7. Dataset, calibration analysis and control, coordination of release activities;
8. Preparation of comprehensive reports based on activities and technical documentation of tests conducted.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields;
• Experience in calibration on engine test benches for diesel/petrol/hybrid/electric;
• Prior experience in engine experimentation and functional verification;
• Diagnosis of anomalies from bench tests, in-vehicle, or on track;
• Good knowledge of engines, After treatment systems, and ATS;
• Knowledge of one or more of the following tools: ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power;
• Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink;
• Good knowledge of English language.

Location: Milan, Turin, Reggio Emilia, Modena.
