DAINESE, a global leader in protective solutions for motorcycling and dynamic sports, is looking for a Project Leader to join our R&D Helmets Dept.

The Helmets Project Leader is responsible for the overall management of projects related to helmet development, ensuring adherence to timelines, costs, and quality standards.

This role coordinates and aligns activities between internal teams and external partners/suppliers, ensuring effective progress in line with company objectives.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
End-to-end project management for helmet development: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Definition and control of the project budget, with constant monitoring of costs and financial risks.
Scheduling and creation of detailed roadmaps, ensuring milestone compliance.
Coordination of the cross-functional team (Design, Industrialization, Quality, Product Management, Supply Chain).
Management of external partners and suppliers, supervising work progress and quality of deliveries.
Product quality monitoring in accordance with regulations, technical standards, and company specifications.
Identifying critical issues and defining mitigation plans.
Promoting smooth communication and a collaborative environment among all parties involved.


REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Engineering (Management, Mechanical, Materials or equivalent) or technical background
5–7 years of experience in structured companies

Previous experience in project management in an industrial context, preferably in the sport equipment, automotive, PPE or consumer goods sector.

Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Gantt, WBS, KPI).
Familiarity with industrialization processes, composite materials, and/or helmet manufacturing technologies is considered a plus
Proficiency in using PM tools and Microsoft suite (Excel, Project, Teams, PowerPoint).
Good knowledge of the English language.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong results orientation and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Collaborative attitude and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving skills and a big-picture perspective.
Proactivity, autonomy, and decision-making ability.
Motorcycle license is important but considered a plus.
Availability for business trips is required.
