    Commissioning and Service Engineer for Building Automation

    We are seeking a senior commissioning and service engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure Regional Solution & Service area in Bologna, Italy.

    As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful commissioning and maintenance of comfort systems, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide on-site technical and operational support during the design, development, installation, and maintenance of equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies applicable to each site.
    • Commission and maintain equipment associated with building automation and climate control systems.
    • Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical product faults.
    • Manage commissioning/field service routines, interacting with third-party vendors as needed.
    • Offer remote and on-site customer support.
    • Maintain technical project archives.
    • Contribute to the technical design and development of commissioning/service offers.
    • Support the use of innovative digital solutions and tools developed by our headquarters.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in comfort systems.
    • Familiarity with main technical standards (CEI - UNI - ISO - EN).
    • Knowledge of air conditioning, electrical, and lighting systems' basic operating principles.
    • Understanding of standard communication protocols (BACNET, KNX, LON, MODBUS, DALI).
    • Programming skills for the PXC product family and/or Desigo CC platform.
    • Proficiency in Windows desktop and server operating systems, IP networks, and switchboard diagrams.
    • Demonstrated ability to repair, troubleshoot, and test assigned programs.
    • Strong goal-oriented and customer-service oriented individual with initiative, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to travel frequently nationally and sometimes internationally.
    • Good knowledge of English and Italian languages.
    • Effective prioritization, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
    • Willingness to learn about new technologies and establish positive relationships.
    • Eligibility to work in Italy.
