Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement highly scalable data processing systems
Manage and optimize big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Cassandra and NoSQL databases
Develop and maintain machine learning models for predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions
Define the collection of data points: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and define data points to collect, ensuring they are relevant and valuable to the organization
As the technical project lead, initial responsibility is to bootstrap the project and lay the foundation for future growth of the platform and of the data team
Identify, collect, and preprocess data from various sources for analysis
Develop and maintain data visualization tools for data exploration and reporting
Remain up-to-date with the latest data processing and machine learning technologies and trends
Ensure data security and privacy throughout the data processing and analysis pipeline
Troubleshoot and debug issues in data processing and machine learning systems

Competenze ed esperienza

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in big data processing and machine learning development
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
Experience with AWS managed services such as EMR, S3, Athena, Quicksight
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Superset and
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good knowledge of English to read and write documentation and to actively interact with global teams in the other EU/US locations
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Residence in Rome or nearby

will be considered a plus : Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
Experience with statistical modelling, machine learning, and deep learning techniques
Familiar with cybersecurity, especially vulnerability and risk management spaces
