We are looking for
The
Head of Engineering (m/w/d) will lead our engineering department, overseeing the development and implementation of our technical strategies.

This role is crucial for driving our product development to new heights and ensuring that our engineering efforts align closely with the overall business goals.

Your role in BizAway

Lead and structure a department organized in 46 teams through management and mentorship.
Develop strategic plans for the company's technology presence.
Oversee all technical aspects and technological resources (including security and the cloud

infrastructure) of the company for the purpose of organizational growth.

Establish a technological vision for an organization and lead the company's technological

development.

Work closely with Product, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new

solutions and enhancements.

Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and longterm needs
Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for technical staff; assign work activities, projects, and programs; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for engineering to

ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives

Your basic qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in an engineering leadership role within a similar environment.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate highperforming teams.
Deep understanding of the technology landscape including current and future trends.
Excellent problemsolving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results.
Experience in developing strategic plans and setting budgets.
