    Reporting to MEA Logistics Manager, the MEA Customs and Trade Compliance Coordinator manages and monitors all Customs and Trade compliance activities for the region in coordination with Central Customs and Trade Compliance team.

    They ensure that customs flows, shipping documentation, and all products imported in the region correspond to local regulations and requirements.

    They work with regional brokers, forwarders and involved stakeholders to facilitate customs clearance in case of issues.

    As part of a global logistics and distribution supply chain, they ensure the application of the WW Customs and Compliance strategies and processes, in alignment with local flows, rules and regulations.


    Ability to work effectively as part of a team and effectively communicate and coordinate with Kering and its Brands' operational teams is essential.

    Job Description

    Skills and knowledge:

    Minimum 5 years of experience in Middle East in Import & Export, Customs operations and last-mile Distribution, preferably within the fashion luxury industry or with a major logistics company working with clients from the fashion luxury industry
    Working Knowledge in GCC region with exposure to the rules and regulation of Customs and Governmental Authorities
    Experience in International logistics flows
    Preferable experience in handling Cites, Jewelry, Perfume & Cosmetics shipments
    Experience in e-commerce within fashion luxury or comparable industry is a plus
    Fluent English spoken and written essential; Arabic a big plus
    Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), Experience with SAP is a plus
    Team player with excellent communication skills
    Multi-tasking approach and ability to prioritize when needed
    Pro-active approach in finding innovative solutions
