PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a
Project Manager that will be based in our Vignate (MI) site and will coordinate internal resources and technical and financial activities for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget and meeting project's objectives by considering customer requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and manage KOM and PIM with the customer
Focal point for communication with the customer
Plan and manage project meetings
Coordinates the activities at the packager ensuring the expected delivery times
Coordinates the sending of the material to the packager
Assisted by the purchasing office, manage the list of material sent to the pacakger keeping track of the material consumed.
Coordinate the packer at the packager by interacting with the Logistics for permits / delivery etc
Participate in the final inspections of the package with Quality and Technical Office.
Manage the delivery of post delivery material and punch lists (completion of supply, NC, various to be managed with the customer).
Manage claims with the customer until the completion of the commissioning.

SHARED/DELEGATED RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with engineering, purchasing, quality to ensure the finalization of GANNT and other documents needed by customer to monitor production.

In coordination with the Technical and Quality Office, manage the construction punch list with the chronology of the works and actions required and the state of completion.

Prepare projects and margin report to constantly monitor project financial objectives by forecasting the requirements; propose solutions and alternatives. Analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.

Work with the department Manager to review backlog and schedules shipments.

DELIVERABLES
Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge

Develop and maintain high level of control of the project development

Develop actions target to improve costs.

Develop and maintain an intensive and positive communication with the other departments in Garo and with the external partners.

In charge of the coordination of communication with customers and Engineering.

Temperamentally capable of sustaining arguments with customers (internal and external) to avoid delays and cost impact.

Work collaboratively with other functions within the organization to accomplish the goals

Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a Mechanical Engineering or other technical related degree.

Project Management credited course preferred.

Important

Must have at least 5-7 years experience in Project Management, preferably in Compressors Manufacturing industry

Global experience is required.

Problem solving capabilities

Strong analytical and project management skills are necessary.

Must possess excellent verbal and communications skills.

Preferred

Proven experience driving changes for process improvements, efficiencies through LEAN and other tools.

Experience with P&L and financial reporting tools.
