Exclusive luxury 5 star hotel, located in a historical city landmark, is looking for a Marketing and Sales Director.


Responsibilities:


  • Promote brand awareness and maximize revenues for the Hotel.
  • Arrange and implement the annual Sales strategy in coordination with GM to generate leads and convert business from the Leisure segment.
  • Responsible to manage expenses according to the department's budget.
  • Responsible for managing the different positions within the S&M Department.
  • Account Management for existing clients and new customer acquisition alike.
  • Organization and execution of national and some international sales related travel and to attend trade shows and road shows.
  • Enter and manage all contact details and Sales related activities in the PMS system provided for this purpose as well as the creation of ROI analyzes.
  • Plan, organize and implement customer loyalty and sales measures (e.g. client meetings, regular customer newsletters, sales trips, customer events and entertainment, fam trips, etc.).
  • Create regular Sales reports to document outcome and inform owners, superiors and coworkers.
  • Live and Breathe the hotel brand standards and be role model to the team and all hotel employees.
  • Close collaboration with Sales Directors for other segments.
  • Sell all services on offer throughout the hotel.
  • Represent hotel at selected hotel and industry Sales events, locally and internationally.
  • Attend weekly and monthly inhouse meetings where necessary and needed (Team Meeting, S&M Meeting, Revenue Meetings).
  • Work closely with all hotel departments.
  • Regular market research and competitive analysis.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of the International luxury hotel market, especially the US / Europe high end leisure segment, Luxury consortia.
  • 3 years plus knowledge in a similar position required.
  • Previous experience working on a similar role for a 5* property based in Milano, Italy.
  • Ambition, Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Teamwork and Organizational Skills needed.
  • Team player, organized, up to date, communicative, result driven, detail oriented, multitasking capabilities.
  • Selfmotivated and energized, proactive and keen.
  • Good presenter, strong personality, People person, Good listener.
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, additional languages beneficial.
  • Energy and passion to work every day and be excited about living and working in Milano, Italy.
  • Passion for flawless service, tenacity and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.
