    We are SICIM, a family-owned company with headquarter in Parma and an Engineering and Procurement Hub in Milan. Sicim has been carrying out large-scale energy projects for over 60 years. Thanks to a solid international presence, we operate in more than 20 countries across four continents and have more than 10,000 employees. Specialising in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) services, our mission is to support customers in the design and construction of sustainable infrastructure and plants, actively contributing to the energy transition.

    Sicim is looking for a Logistic Manager for an our pipeline project based in Germany. The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

    • Manage the daily operations of logistics service provider that ensures transportation into our accountable area;
    • Have the chance to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement them;
    • Coordinate with the Operations team the heavy equipments according to the work schedules;
    • Review performance metrics via weekly and monthly review meetings;
    • Contribute to projects that aim for Supply Chain improvement;
    • Controlling operations cost and identify cost saving opportunities;
    • Will be part of RFQ exercise;
    • Oversee the equipment inventory and purchasing to ensure proper deployment and retrieval and balancing cost management with field crew productivity;
    • Build an expert level of knowledge and understanding of construction equipment and company property;
    • Prepare an asset schedule, including owned, leased or rented, and prepare a schedule for delivery and removal for the project;
    • Modify and update the equipment schedule on a weekly basis after consultation with PM's;
    • Regularly review all construction equipment utilization, including owned, leased or rented, and ensure maximum utilization across all projects;
    • Anticipate and plan for the requirement to source equipment rental based on project overlaps and delays, breakdowns or early completions;
    • Determine when additional assets are required based on project loads and recommend either a purchase or lease/rental solution;
    • Prepare an analysis and costs for review and approval;

    Requirements

    We are looking for somebody that:

    • Has excellent communication skills;
    • Has been working for at least 7⁄10 years Logistics environment or/and Oil&Gas operations experience;
    • Is result oriented and a team player;
    • Bachelor degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics or other relevant degree).
    • Fluency in English;
    • Consolidated foreign experience;
    • Good knowledge of international transport and customs
    • Knowledge of software for purchasing and warehouse control;
    • Knowledge of heavy vehicles, spare parts, etc; Knowledge in mechanical construction (spare parts, etc.);
    • Knowledge in the purchase of oil & gas project materials;
