General Description of the Role


The Global IT Enterprise Architect has the mission to support the definition and implementation of the IT Architecture and Technological Innovation at the Enterprise level, guaranteeing the end-to-end governance of the technology strategy and choices.


The Enterprise Architect is a global role, collaborating closely with the Global and Regional IT Leaders, and with the others Architects allocated for the main technological domains.

The role requires strong technological acumen and expertise, innovative and strategic vision, and the ability to influence and lead technological decisions.


Mission/Objectives
- supports the definition and development of the architecture principles and standards in alignment with company's strategic vision
- is responsible to ensure consistent evolution of the enterprise architecture in a sustainable and supportable way, partnering with the IT CoE and IT Platforms Leads in the main solutions design
- is accountable to support the development of a mature architecture community, fostering collaboration and acting as an innovation evangelist on technology and best practices
- is accountable for maintaining overall business capabilities map up-to-date in collaboration with business partners
- in collaboration with IT governance manager defines the EA templates and work on adoption across Architects community acting as change enablers across the organization
- play a pivotal role in the Setup and evolution and continuous improvement of the Architects Community of Practices


Experience & Education
- +10 years of experience in IT filed, with proven leadership in complex IT Enterprise Architecture roles, partnering with the IT and business functions on the strategic technological and architectural choices

  • Experience of working as part of an international, multicultural and geographically dispersed team.
  • Broad knowledge of IT strategies, innovation trends, standards and best practices, organizational structures and processes.
  • Preferred experience of Consumer Goods companies and related solutions and processes.
  • Deep and broad understanding of the business strategy and needs associated to technology landscape in a Consumer Goods international environment.
  • Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management (waterfall, agile or hybrid), IT services management, infrastructure, and operations
  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, eventdriven IT and predictive analytics
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Systems Engineering or similar professions.
  • Fluent English is a must, Italian knowledge is a plus, as a third language
