Job Description Job Title:

Commissioning EngineerJF 07-08Objective:
Undertaking all necessary site integration, commissioning, hand-over and start-up activities when a product or system has to be implemented.
Verifying that assigned works are in accordance with Customer requirements and is consistent with the latest installation schedule.

Providing training to the customer staffDetailed job description and responsibilities:

Performing commissioning tasks on AMS NAVAIDS (Navigational Aids) and NRS (Non-radar-surveillance) catalogue productsRecording the results of test activities in measurements sheets and preparing suitable reportsReviewing technical documentation and drawingsIdentifying and solving problems in a timely and cost-effective mannerPerforming Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) incl.

documentation with customer representativeEnsuring that the delivered system has passed all test procedures successfullyProviding ground support during commissioning and routine flight checksProviding classroom and on-the job training sessions for customers maintenance and operator staffPerforming failure analysis and related on-site repair activities on customer productsSupporting Project Engineering (PE) by finalizing the As Built DocumentationEnsuring the quality, work safety and suitability of all work performedRequiredqualification:

BA Degree in Communications engineeringSeveral year experience in the deployment of industrial communication systemsRequired Security Clearance:

Required skills:

Mandatory:

Good knowledge of RF-/Analog-/Digital and IT-TechnologiesBasic knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineeringSafe handling of PC tools such as Excel, Word, etc.

English language fluent in writing and speechPreferable:
Good knowledge of ATM (Air Traffic Management) products and proceduresExperience in field service areaAdditional language (preferable French)Social competencies:
