Job Description:

As the Process Improvement Manager in the Concessions and Damages team, you will oversee the quality performance of our Middle Mile transportation network and Ship with Amazon business. Your role involves leading large-scale programs that positively impact our customers.

• Review daily process defect data, identify root causes, develop action plans, and assess their impact in collaboration with site Operations.
• Offer proactive feedback to operations management on quality issues, collaborating with central teams on projects and system enhancements.
• Acquire expertise in key MMN process paths and exception handling, ensuring process consistency across all shifts and departments through training and audits.
• Conduct daily process audits in Sortation centers to ensure adherence to PMVs and SOPs, addressing non-compliance and implementing necessary changes.
• Regularly review quality metrics with site leadership, covering concessions, damages, DEA, returns, and customer feedback.
• Establish effective communication channels for sharing quality updates and best practices within assigned sites/region.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Transportation or Supply Chain experience in a high-volume logistics, manufacturing, or engineering environment, along with Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in local language and English, verbally and written.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive decisions, test theories, and measure success.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience querying relational databases using SQL, as well as handling large complex data sets.

• Demonstrated expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies or similar techniques.
• Degree in a science or logistics-based discipline.
• Previous experience in Inventory Control, Quality Assurance Management, performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in Python or any programming language for data analysis.
