    Summary

    Covering this position, you'll coordinate the production of finished goods for a global, multi-site supply chain with focus on Valtellina Plant, using ERP systems and planning tools (RapidResponse/JDE)

    You'll be balancing plant efficiency, sales, distribution, customer service and inventory requirements, supporting the Execution teams in Material and Daily Replenishment Planning activities.

    What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for Production planning, Material purchasing support and inventory management of a portfolio of finished goods
  • Support/Lead the OPLAN Process with key stakeholders e.g. Plant management – reporting Sales, Production and Inventory
  • Formulate & Communicate short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demand
  • Define & approve planning parameters that drive OTIF and Inventory performance
  • Accountable for achieving Inventory Targets
  • Collaborate with other Planners and Managers, Demand planners, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial & Shipping teams
  • Proactively managing supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, close out, or decrease orders where necessary
  • Monitor supply chain performance, review & support planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Apply scenario planning & collaboration Rapid Response functionality and tools
  • Maintain product code data and statistics in various systems
  • What you'll bring

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or similar fields
  • 3-5 Years working experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning/Distribution
  • Understanding of all aspects of end-to-end supply chain and how we interact with other functions
  • Good communication skills required
  • Disciplined, independent in executing tasks, but also a strong team player
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office, reading and creating reports and conducting analysis for business decisions
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Drives results with sense of urgency and accountability
  • Knowledge in JDE or similar platform is an advantage
  • Very good English knowledge
