THE ROLE


New Guards Group is looking for a Legal Manager with a strong expertise in Privacy and Compliance matters who will report to the Head of Legal, Governance & CoSec.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work closely with the Head of Legal, Governance & CoSec to give accurate and timely counsel on all privacy and compliance matters
  • Support NGG Group in the development and implementation of Organizational Model pursuant to D.Lgs 231/0
  • Coordinate the relationship with the Supervisory Body within NGG Group and the implementation of Global Compliance Program of Farfetch Group
  • Take part in NGG Group special projects, ensuring that they are in line with the corporate governance
  • Support the development and implementation of privacy governance frameworks, risk management and compliance
  • Provide strategic support on initiatives concerning privacy issues
  • Negotiate and draft agreements, contracts and legal documents to ensure data protection
  • Draft, review and revise existing data privacy /compliance policies, procedures and best practice documents
  • Support the creation of and review data processing records and compliance assessments.
  • Support other members of the legal team

WHO YOU ARE

  • Law Degree
  • At least 68+years in a similar role preferably in the fashion industry or in international consultancies companies or law firms
  • Being a qualified lawyer is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of national and European corporate laws and D.Lgs. 231/0
  • Significant experience with international privacy regulatory frameworks, compliance policies and AML regulations, as well as Code of Ethics
  • Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and clarity in the preparation of documents
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work proactively, independently on multiple projects under tight timeframes
  • Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fastpaced everchanging environment
  • Fluent in legal and business English written and spoken (this will be tested in the interview process
