    For the Milan office, located at viale Fulvio Testi 289/6, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND POLICY MANAGER to be employed on a PERMANENT CONTRACT within the Government Affairs, Policy & Patient Engagement Department.

    The Healthcare System & Policy Manager will be responsible for the Healthcare System & Policy Function, which aims to: - develop policy strategies in response to the OpCo's needs, taking into account the current pharmaceutical governance scenarios; - promote specific analyses of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, in order to assess the impacts on the Italian OpCo and develop new WIN-WIN policy proposals for the healthcare system, with the goal of ensuring better access to treatments for patients.

    The Healthcare System & Policy Manager will report directly to the Department Director of GAP&PE and will collaborate frequently with all members of the Italian Leadership Team and the Managing Director.


    Responsibilities of the role:

    The Healthcare System & Policy Manager will perform the following activities: - Analysis of macroeconomic and political-institutional trends, with particular focus on the health and pharmaceutical sectors; - Development of predictive market trends in the pharmaceutical industry, essential for supporting strategic decisions by the Italian Leadership Team; - Development of policy narratives and fact-based corporate positioning documents on issues impacting the business; - Coordination and supervision of the activities of the Healthcare System & Policy Function for which they are responsible; - Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors (primarily in the economic field) at both national and regional levels, in order to better understand the system's challenges and consequently develop concrete implementable proposals.


    Requirements for the position:

    • Master's Degree in Economics (preferably with a focus on healthcare), Political Sciences, or Management Engineering;
    • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills;
    • Knowledge of the healthcare-pharmaceutical sector;
    • Strong teamwork skills;
    • People management capabilities;
    • Ability to establish relationships with senior leaders and relevant stakeholders of the National Healthcare System;
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
    • Fluent knowledge of both English and Italian languages.
