Unique Opportunity for Automation Engineers

We invite you to join our RME team, where you can apply your knowledge and continue learning from first-class professionals. Throughout the program, you will develop technical, analytical, and communication skills while solving complex problems.

You will be supported by a mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) to help you succeed in these areas. In addition, you will participate in over 300 hours of theoretical and practical training with external providers on various subjects such as:

• Electric and electronic systems (e.g., EPLAN, panel wiring and assembly)
• Automation and robotics (e.g., PLC programming, Python, and SQL basics)
• Project management and communication

Upon completion of the program, you will be fully trained and eligible for an Automation Engineer position in our maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor, fault find, and repair systems to ensure high equipment availability for internal customers
2. Train technicians on control systems fault finding to raise knowledge levels within the site
3. Collaborate with the EU Controls network to enhance MHE metrics monitoring and visualization
4. Participate in continuous improvement projects coordinated by the EU Controls network
5. Work with IT, EU Controls Engineering, and Operations Engineering to ensure system documentation and backup libraries are accurate

This role requires working in a non-traditional shift pattern, including nights and weekends. The positions are available in Piedmont, Lombardy, and Veneto regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To access our apprenticeship program, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be between 18 and 29 years old
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or achieve it before the program start
• Speak Italian fluently and demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or written technical instructions
• Be passionate about Automation and Engineering and willing to start a career in this area
• Be motivated and have a practical approach
• Want to acquire a commitment to learn, develop, and get involved
• Have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Be a proactive person and open to acquiring new knowledge and skills
• Likely to work in a team and easily build relationships with others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in electrical engineering or related fields
• Project management experience
• Software developer experience
