Job summary
The Technical Helpdesk Engineer Level 2 provides advanced technical support to dealer networks acting as a subject-matter expert for complex diagnostic and repair issues.This position directly impacts customer satisfaction service lead times first-time-fix rates and dealer efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for level two technical escalations from dealers and level one support diagnose complex vehicle issues using OEM diagnostic tools interpret electrical schematics guide accurate repairs provide expert guidance on domains chassis body telematics multiplexing low-emission vehicles gasoline diesel powertrains transmissions coordinate with engineering quality suppliers validate root causes define corrective actions contribute field fixes technical bulletins analyze case trends identify systemic issues recommend preventive measures knowledge base updates support dealer workshops structured troubleshooting steps repair procedures parts recommendations improve first-time-fix create deliver technical communications training remote onsite maintain accurate case documentation monitor KPIs drive continuous improvement initiatives ensure compliance safety quality standards OEM procedures during all support activities collaborate cross-functionally improve serviceability new products contribute feedback product development.
