- Proficiency in English and intermediate level in another FAO official language
- Experience in multiple work areas, especially field positions
- Ability to design funding strategies with multiple stakeholders
- Skills in negotiating complex funding agreements
- Strong relationship management and outreach experience
- Research abilities to identify funding sources and partnerships

FAO Emphasis on Workforce Diversity:
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) actively contributes to transforming agrifood systems for better production, nutrition, and environment in alignment with the UN Agenda.
Organizational Context:
The Statistics Division (ESS) at FAO is responsible for setting standards and methodologies in food and agriculture statistics, providing essential capacity building, and disseminating relevant publications.
The 50x Initiative, a collaborative effort launched at the UN General Assembly, aims to improve agricultural data systems in 50 countries, filling crucial data gaps.
Role Overview:
The incumbent will be part of the ESS Survey Team working on the 50x Initiative to address Agricultural Data Gaps in coordination with various stakeholders.
