In this team you are directly shaping the course of business at Getir.

We are currently looking for an accounting professional with a curious and persistent personality, with a "can-do" attitude and "hands-on" mentality.

This role will support our incredible Italy Finance team with Getir's day-to-day accounting operations.


What You'll Be Doing

• The Finance Associate will be support the team with daytoday accounting operations
• Be a team player in projects, provide financial support to Business Units,
• Work with IT finance teams closely on all matters of accounting
• Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
• Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
• Protect business against unintentional overpayment
• Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
• Clarify any questionable invoice items & prices
• Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment
• Maintain copies of invoices or correspondence necessary for files
• Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
• Reconcile bank statements
• Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
• Raise queries on all discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders
• Provide analysis on purchases when required
• Undertake other ad hoc assignments as required

What You'll Bring

• The most fundamental skills we need for this role is the aptitude for and interest in numbers, math, business and production processes, and helping to manage a business.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Management)

years of experience in accounting, audit or similar areas

• Sector experience: FMCG, Retail, Start Up, Tech, Ecommerce, Quick Commerce, Audit/Practice firms with these sector clients is preferred, or a global and/or large corporate firm
• SAP experience is a plus
• Good business sense, strong analytical and problemsolving skills,
• Excellent command of MS Office programs,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
