Our client, a prominent international insurer, is looking for a "Head of Regulatory Compliance" who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all compliance initiatives related to the operations of the insurance company. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the insurance sector with a solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations.

The candidate chosen for this role will be responsible to:

· Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and industry standards in the insurance sector.

· Continuously monitor business activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

· Regularly conduct assessments of compliance risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

· Work with other cross-functional business to address regulatory requests and audits.

· Manage staff training on compliance issues and maintain a risk-aware and compliant work environment.

· Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and manage all communications and information requests related to compliance.

· Conduct internal investigations in case of suspected compliance violations and develop corrective action plans.

· Monitor regulatory changes and update company policies and procedures accordingly.

· Prepare and present compliance reports to company management and the board of directors.

· Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is preferred.

· At least 8 years of work experience in the insurance sector.

· Thorough knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the insurance sector.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

· Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in English language.

· Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
