RDM Group is looking for a
"Credit Specialist" to join the
Admin & Finance Team.


The Credit Specialist within the customers accounting office supports the Credit Manager in managing and coordinating the activity related to credit towards customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for takings,
    monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts;
  • Creating the
    monthly/daily reports of due payments and producing ad hoc reports and customer's account statements as required i.e. by Sales Managers;
  • Participating to and collaborating with all other functions to
    recover credits and halt supplies;
  • Ensuring optimal
    cash flow by continued positive contact and relationship building;
  • Proactively reviewing, supervising and resolving discrepancies with
    transport documents,
    orders, claims, worksheets, invoices/credit notes, customs documents, proforma and documentary credit letters;
  • Managing the accounts receivables ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted;
  • Managing the update of
    customer data and
    credit limits in the master data;
  • Contributing to reminding customers of due payments;
  • Supervising
    incoming payment process in compliance with policies and procedures;
  • Reviewing daily orders on hold for credit reasons and determine whether they can be released or what action items are necessary to resume shipping;
  • Contacting sales, production and back office colleagues to resolve any open issues;

Extending credit to customers within his limit of authority and approve credit inquiries;

  • Other tasks as assigned by credit manager.

He/She is in charge of:
credit limits evaluation; customers in procedure, debt provisions; bank receipts for Italian customers; aging reports.


Requirements:


  • Diploma in Accountancy or business consultant or equal training;

At least 5 years of experience in the role;
-
Excellent knowledge of English. Another European language is a preferred;

  • Command of Windows Office tools, especially proficiency in Excel;
  • Ability to manage strict deadlines;
  • Strong analytical skills and attentions to details;
  • Proactive approach, problem solving, good soft skills, confidentiality and ability to work in a team
