Area Government Affairs
- Monitor and interpret the political, economic, legislative, regulatory, health and social context, understand the priorities of national/regional stakeholders related to health policy and therapeutic areas that could potentially impact AbbVie's portfolio
- Identification of changes in roles in institutions and parliamentary committees, movements and trends of opinion also through the analysis of social/digital tools
- Continuously deepen the understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector, both at national and regional level, as well as the map of the various stakeholders involved (e.g. Healthcare/Drug Agencies, Patient Associations and Scientific Societies, Institutions, Third Parties), understand their role in future health policies and identify key challenges and opportunities for the affiliate
- Analysis of legislative proposals to determine their impact on the organization and to translate government guidelines and choices into opportunities/risks for the corporate portfolio.
- Follow the parliamentary work of the Chamber and Senate, Analysis of DL, Impact in health and pharmaceutical provisions
- Develop Above Brand strategies and projects to build strong and trusting relationships with institutional managers, in order to support the corporate reputation and value of our company
- Explore new ways of collaborating with other SHs (Ex. Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Technological Innovation and Digitization, Foundations, Academies, Third Parties)

Requirements:
- Degree in science or economics/classical sciences
- MBA, Master or PhD with specific focus on the areas of Government Affairs, Public Health, Health Policy, Health Economics, HTA
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical and Healthcare sectors, solid experience gained with key stakeholders, in national/regional politics and in Public Health (minimum 8 years)
- Excellent knowledge of the National and Regional Health and Pharmaceutical sector, of the dynamics of market access, of the economic/financial flows and of the politicallegislative mechanisms of the sector
- Understanding and knowledge of the modalities and dynamics of decisions in the health sector
- Knowledge of HTA methodologies and ability to leverage economicpharmaceutical/health analysis to bring valuable evidence and to facilitate access and knowledgeof the main pharmacoeconomics tools (CEA, BIM, Value Based Healthcare)
- Experience in coordinating multistakeholder initiatives
- Strong project management skills
