    About the Role

    In our headquarters in Bologna we are seeking for a fresh graduate, who will be part of the purchasing area, for a six-month refunded internship. The successful candidate will support the team, gain hands-on experience and a full overview of a global procurement environment.

    As a Purchasing Intern, you will focus on mechanical commodities and mechanical commercials. Hence, the successful candidate will have a first bite of how procurement processes work.

    On a daily basis the candidate will be:

  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers for the procurement of spare parts and supporting the team in scouting new potential suppliers.
  • Monitoring the order confirmation process and ensuring compliance with agreed delivery dates.
  • Updating spare parts commitments into purchase orders in SAP.
  • You will support the department for timely management of suppliers in terms of costs, delivery, and quality, utilizing company management systems to handle contracts.
  • Supporting and collaborating with Spare Parts, Logistics and Warehouse and other Coesia's Departments.
  • What You Need to Be Successful

    The ideal candidate has:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma as a Mechanical Technician, preferably with IFTS course.
  • Good command of OfficeSuite (Excel, Ppt).
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and being a real team player.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability/opportunity to work autonomously on specific assigned task.
