    Junior Researcher for SpeciesMonitoring 2

    Institute for Alpine Environment performs problem-oriented research in mountain environments, landscape ecology, global change and biodiversity.

    • Collaboration with Office for Nature on survey and monitoring of protected species with emphasis on European Habitats Directive.
    • Closely working with Biodiversity Monitoring South Tyrol team to monitor saproxylic beetles and butterflies in Province of South Tyrol (ITA).

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Adapt methodological foundations for surveys, mapping, and monitoring protected species.
    2. Towards all data into Museum of Nature database.
    3. Create project assessments using technical expertise
    4. Pilots fieldwork activities independent or coordinating tasks
