Job overview:

  • The Reservations Manager will manage, train and support the Reservations team. Will always guarantee excellent service to our Guests, in compliance with our company philosophy, operating standards and procedures. He or she will provide our Guests with a wide and stylish selection of accommodation, together with unique activities and exclusive services. He or she has to preserve a harmonious work atmosphere with a focused approach on teamwork.

  • Will provide quality service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously. Will sell and promote services, in compliance with current standards and procedures, using the_ PMS ProTel_ of _SynXis, booking engine_ and _TravelClick CRS;_
  • Will make written reports required by the Director of Revenue & Reservations;
  • Will check availability for accommodation or transportation services, for customers' desired travel dates;
  • Will make guests' reservations sensitive to specific requests and their budgetary requirements;
  • Will assist and advise customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options;
  • Will help to plan travel itineraries by suggesting local attractions and interesting places;
  • Will process payments and send confirmation details to clients;
  • Will manage any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations;
  • Will answer any questions about the reservations process;
  • Will upsell additional services or special packages such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded accommodation;
  • Will assist customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation;
  • Will accept guests' requests, anticipating their individual needs & requirements;
  • Will ensure effective communication between the front office staff and the other departments, in compliance with our current procedures. The goal should always be to make guests feel comfortable and satisfied;
  • Will preserve a positive and collaborative work atmosphere within the team;
  • Will support the accounts department by responding accurately and efficiently with all queries.

We require:

  • At least 6 years as Reservations Agent in hotel/ rental villas or tour operators;
  • Outstanding Guests service skills;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Fluent in English, Italian and in a third language;
  • Motivation and ability to work in a multitasking environment and prioritize tasks;
  • Good leadership and problemsolving abilities;
  • Excel Microsoft Office Suite proficiency;
  • Excellent knowledge of PMS ProTel, ofSynXis booking engine and TravelClick CRS will be a plus.
