The Role
The regional sales manager will be the face of JoVE within the Italy library community.


Responsibilities

  • Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close & meet or exceed quarterly sales goals.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive new business and maintain current renewals across territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively pursue potential customers.
  • Schedule meetings with libraries "inperson" and present the product to faculty, staff and administration at universities and colleges within your region.
  • Work effectively with other team members in the territory to deliver on sales targets, team projects and various campaigns for the region.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting of sales activity.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development to ensure customer needs are being met.

Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree
  • 26 years of field sales experience. Library or Publishing sales experience is preferred.
  • Full professional proficiency in Italian language.
  • Experience in strategic selling is an advantage.
  • A drive to succeed and a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A demonstrated passion for science and education, college level coursework in the sciences preferred.
  • Confidence in dealing with university academics and librarian.
  • Selfmotivated and willing to learn new skills.

Pay:
€60, €70,000.00 per year
