Stevanato Group is an Italian but multinational manufacturing company. We develop and produce
drug containment solutions in glass and plastics.

The main production process is the
processing of the glass tube by forming and the subsequent
cleaning and
sterilization of the container using
highly automated machinery.


We are looking for a
Process Technologist to be insert in our Manufacturing Science and Technology area (MS&T), directly reporting to Process Technology Leader.


This figure will execute all the activities in order
to facilitate the introduction of new products, processes and technologies into production as well as life cycle management for the product line assigned, reviewing changes in existing products and processes and enabling that new products make a smooth transition from trial and testing stages to full production; will execute the
technology transfer and the other project phases assigned related to new processes and equipment/technologies introduction.

Will maintain the validated status of processes, identifies any critical issues and make recommendations for improvements to the leader above, ensuring that it complies with quality, standards, safety and meets customer expectations, working alongside the other functions involved such as R&D, Quality, Engineering and the other Operations Teams.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Facilitates the introduction of new processes, equipment and products through to successful production launch, conducting
    feasibility studies in order to ensure product consistency in the most efficient way.
  • Performs
    risk assessments analysis, reports any potential critical issues and proposes solutions to the leader above in terms of process improvements, dealing with troubleshooting of technical product issue, deviations management and change control, implementing the appropriate corrective and preventive action, working with the other functions involved.
  • Executes all the activities related to the technical transfer documents, quality attributes, including critical quality attributes, process capabilities gap and the relevant critical parameters, working with R&D, Quality and Productions Teams
  • Provides appropriate input in the early development phase with the aim of sustain a feasible transition to production and minimization of costs, ensuring the timely and efficient process implementation at manufacturing scale and vice versa, contributing to lifecycle management project, in compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in the user requirement collection phases during the new/revised equipment concepts, ensuring documents and reports required for the investment proposal, working closely with the other functions involved in order to provide all the requirements and analysis needed.
  • Participates to the project assigned in terms of
    innovation, introduction of new technologies, infrastructure change and expansions, processes and information systems as appropriate, to address the changing environment, deals with the relevant testing processes (i.e FAT, SAT) and qualification processes, working with the other external and internal stakeholders involved, enhances existing operations, striving toward excellence.

Qualifications

  • Engineering background (mechanical, materials, chemical, management )
  • 2+ years of experience in Process Development or Continuous Improvement roles related to new processes/product introduction in manufacturing environment and sector (preferably in Pharma, Automotive or Food industry).
  • Experience in quality and/or Pharma operations, managing resources is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in English is a must have
