About the role

AdvanTEC is a premier team of building system experts at Building Solutions Group at
_Carrier Corp_. This team develops, markets, and supports sales of innovative sustainable, healthy, and intelligent building solutions.

The AdvanTEC team creates and deploys rapid prototypes of solutions that solve customer problems and leverage the broad portfolio of Carrier products and expertise.


Reporting to the global Director of AdvanTEC, this position will have responsibility for the leadership of the regional EMEA AdvanTEC team, providing sales support to Carrier Building Solutions Group with the objective of maximizing sales across the whole of Carrier's business portfolio.


This position will be responsible to achieve the annual solution sales targets by growing the customer project pipeline, creating customer project proposals, and supporting the execution of customer projects.

This position will require working with AdvanTEC team members located in the US, Europe and Asia in the creation of new solutions, and with local Carrier business units for the deployment of solutions in customer's buildings primarily in EMEA and on occasion globally.

Requirements:


As a minimum you must have:

  • MS degree with 12+ years experience
  • PhD with 10+ years experience
  • HVAC system design and analysis (water and airside)
  • Building energy assessment and analysis
  • Building system automation, IoT system deployment

Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

Customer Project and Solution Development:


  • Support vertical marketing and BSG enterprise accounts sales team members to identify project opportunities, create a project pipeline in support of the annual sales goals.
  • Participate in consultative sales of projects to customers.
  • Support the creation of project proposals, RFI, RFP responses.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions as needed Identify and clarify customer needs, use cases and requirements for the creation of new solutions.
  • Develop and commercialize new solutions in coordination with the global AdvanTEC team and Carrier business units.

Team leadership and Management:


  • Responsible for the skill and competency development and overall performance management of direct reports.
  • Ensuring timeliness and quality of the teams work products.
  • Responsible for regional AdvanTEC project sales pipeline, tracking, reporting.
  • Maintain the teams expense spend within the allocated budget.
  • Responsible to create and sustain a safe and ethical work environment in compliance with company policies.
