Position Summary

In this role you will develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan (both Baseline and promotional volumes) at SKU level and on weekly basis for a portfolio of products, which represents the most realistic estimate of customer demand.

You will also ensure the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes, identify and manage exceptions and also monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company's ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.

A Day in the Life of a Demand Planner

Bring in the monthly forecasting process the promo and nopromo demand as it comes out from promo and customer plan in alignement with Category Sales Manager
Review historical sales trends, evaluate statistical forecast results and develop SAS tools
Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy and variability BIAS balance
Support to Category in evaluation and definition of next year volumes for Campaigns (Xmas, St. Valentin, Easter)
In case of shortage of stock (short/long period), receive the input from Supply Planning, giving alert to sales and give Customer priority to allocate stock in according with Sales Manager
In case of possible waste, receive the input from Supply Planning and contact Sales to identify possible actions to avoid waste
