Support customer bids with specific focus on the opportunity shaping and business development for opportunities by the Local Markets team - Lead campaigns to pursue funding opportunities for Group product and solutions - Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics - Maintain and share professional knowledge and understanding of Group product and solutions through education, networking, events, and presentations Core competencies, knowledge and experience - Commercial Acumen in the B2B Environment:
Strong commercial acumen within the B2B environment and Public Sector procurement practices to enable effective targeting on Group product and solutions - Sales Cycle & budgeting knowledge:
Good understanding of sales planning processes and of relevant budgeting processes - Experience of working within complex, matrix environment:
Experience of working with across both group and local market teams to collectively deliver successful outcomes - Experience of managing complex, sales and business engagements cycles:
Experience of working with long-term deal structuring and shaping business opportunities - Ability to quickly understand and translate customer information into formal templates - Operate at a senior market and customer level to proactively influence customers multi-year strategy in line with Vodafone Business Group & Solutions goals Must have technical / professional qualifications - 7 years in a technical sales environment - Technical / Business degree/accreditations helpful Budget owned Development and Activation Key performance indicators - New Business Acquisition (TCV/AOV) - Market Share growth - Win rate metrics
