• Communicate with internal and vendor contacts to understand and respond to customer needs.
• Uncover opportunities for outside sales, from potential new customers and current customers.

• College Degree required
• Technical associate's degree in lieu of college degree

• Minimum (5) years of experience in sales
• Minimum (3) years in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical industry is required
• Education as described above may be accepted in lieu of experience
• Minimum of (3) years experience in quoting, marketing or engineering of hydraulic products
• Expert level English; verbal and written communication

• Detail oriented to manage customer projects, deadlines and shipments
• Advanced knowledge of distributed products line in particular hydraulic gear pumps
• Be an active part of a cohesive team, build trust and relationships
• Superb organizational skills, with the ability to successfully work on multiple tasks at times
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including professional phone technique
• Mechanical aptitude, with above average math skills
• Ability to use and understand ERP system, MS Excel, etc
