Travelling Shop Manager - On Board Position:


Your life on board:


As a Travelling Shop Manager, you will serve as a role model, responsible for consistently achieving retail sales goals and leading day-to-day operations to drive performance.

You love establishing and developing strong relationships with onboard and shoreside management to provide transparency and promote collaboration.

Get things right:

You'll be responsible for maintaining an environment of positive employee relations, inspiring the teams to achieve results, and taking care of their professional development;
You will focus on planning, execution and delivery of the Shops operation cycle onboard;
You will gather information and compiling reports, while also employing a data-driven approach to make decisions aligned with the directives of the Corporate Shop Operations Director;
You will assist the Sales Director and the Costa Shop Manager in overseeing high-volume shop operations, aiming to provide excellent experiences to guests and uphold Company standards consistently;
You will mantein excellent marketing and visual merchandising standards;
You will supervise all Shops outlets organization, suggesting improvements according to company guidelines and product branding;
You will maximize opening hours while complying with international customs regulations and onboard activities;

You will manage and develop a team of retail attendants, specialists and supervisors in the sales department on board of one of our vessels.

You will recommend training and updates about the brands, sales and service.


Safety First:

You are an advocate of following safety policy and procedures.

You take an active part in making the work environment safe for everyone and monitor Guest activities during excursions to ensure compliance.


If a Guest is injured or requires medical assistance during a tour, you are by their side to give assistance and ensure adequate support in accordance with Company procedures and guidelines.

What makes you unique

You have a B2 spoken level of English, the knowledge of other languages is a plus.

You possess good communication skills, and you are a curious, organized, and determined person with experience in people management.

You have at least 5-year experience in retail as Shop Manager or Area Manager in fast paced environments.
